These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of dotwardgames.com and the games and content provided on it (collectively, the "Site"), operated by Dotward Games ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
Dotward Games grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your own non-commercial entertainment. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site.
Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree that you will not:
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;

Online play and conduct
Some games offer online multiplayer through private rooms. You are responsible for your conduct and any display name you choose. We may remove access or restrict features if we reasonably believe a user is abusing the service or other players.
Intellectual property
The Site, including its software, design, graphics, text, and original game implementations, is owned by Dotward Games or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Classic games such as chess are in the public domain as games, but our specific implementation, code, artwork, and presentation are our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you.
Advertising
The Site is supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Your interactions with advertisers and the collection of data for advertising are subject to our Privacy Policy and the policies of those third parties.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability

Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the operator's place of residence.
